All life is a sham dammit... You try your damnedest, i mean you really, really do, but then you find that some people talk about how you're "not a very nice person" behind your back and others you thought were good friends are calling you a "fool" and a "not very smart guy"... It's so very, very annoying... One day you're fine and it's all la-di-da but then the next you learn about all your "friends" have said and how others you have confided your secrets in (like your closet of closet friends) have completely screwed you by ignoring those secrets and going for the fucking gold with the one you were after... I mean it may have happened long ago and you may have told them you are fine with it but you're really not and it still hurts done to the bone... It hurts so bad that you kick walls repeatedly to make the pain shift to physical from emotional... You hate being emotional but every time you drink, people comment on your being distant, or "a little down", or a bit pissed off, or some such other fucking thing... God it fucking hurts so much so you finally tell the person how you feel about them and they make you the fucking bad guy... You are supposed to "be his friend" and why are "you doing this to him and me?"... So you go sulking off and eventually apologise but the pain remains... Everytime you talk to her you still feel it and it hurts even more but, hey, you have to live with it and go on with a grin... It might not last forever but you gotta keep so she doesn't get hurt... ... ... ...
