Best. Bumper Sticker. Ever.

check out #3

I saw that bottom bumper sticker on the drive into work today, and almost wet myself. It's probably the nerdiest thing I've ever seen in my life, combining a love of horse-riding and dungeon-mastering. Kudos to whoever designed this masterpiece.

  • Once Elizabeth and I were driving on East Market and saw a bumper sticker that read, "Save a horse. Ride a cowboy."

  • On the same car:
I killed a 6-pack just to watch it die.

I said "no" to drugs, but they just wouldn't listen.

I felt safe knowing he was on the road.

  • I like the fact that someone feels it's neccessary to base all of their personal relationships on their horse (#2). What if you meet the person of your dreams, and they are allergic to horses?

  • Also, I had no idea either. Apparently, there are a lot of dungeon warriors riding around on their mighty steeds in this part of Virginia.

  • "Fourth-level" is probably a legit. ranking for horsey stuff. I don't know though, and I think the D&D idea is better anyway.

    (I don't know about D&D either, seriously!)

  • Dressage is a competition where you're judged on how well you control the horse, your posture when you ride, how neat your appearance is...all these little nitpicky things. You get to fourth level dressage if you are really, really good.
A quarter horse is the horse that people ride for speed. You know when you see the tournaments where people ride through an obstacle course - that's where you use a quarter horse. People tend side with one competition over another.
I know this stuff only because I taught at a boarding school with a really good equestrian department. But it does sound like they were talking about dungeons and dragons. ;)
