Friendster Porn

Does anyone else get this? Lately, I'd say I get three to four of these messages a week. I'll be checking my e-mail when, lo and behold, "Anna" has sent me an e-mail. I go to check it, and it's obviously some spambot with a generic message ("hey, I was searching for local guys and I saw yours, here's my e-mail, let's chat!") trying to get my e-mail address off of me. I'm not 100% sure what the point of this is, if it's just to accrue more e-mail addresses from a bunch of lonely suckers on Friendster or what, but it's really annoying.

They've been getting worse and worse so far as grammar and chosen names go. Today, I got an e-mail from SwtNSxyThong. It's pretty obvious that's not someone's real name now, isn't it?

Screw Double Posting

That was short lived. I'm just going to let Shoulda Said die out gracefully. Hopefully, you will all check it and see that I've moved. If not...it was nice knowing you.

Anyway, you know that section of your Blogger profile where you get a random question, type in your answer, and then every time someone views your profile, they get a different question with that same answer? If not, check my profile.

I wrote the answer to my question so long ago at this point that I've forgotten what the original question was. However, this was the exchange just now, as I checked my profile.

For your birthday, your aunt gave you a maple syrup dispenser shaped like a rooster. Please write her a thank-you note:
Oh you. You always know what's good for me, whether or not I like it.

I laughed a little at that.

Welcome back la vista, Blogger!

Shoulda Said is going up on the market at the end of next month, and I'm not really too keen on paying another $100 to keep it going. As such, I'm going to start using this site again, I guess. Keep your eyes peeled for a lot of (okay, maybe three) double postings in the next month as I make the switch.
