Seriously...

Why do Old Navy ads suck so much advertising dick?

  • Their ads REALLY annoy me! However,I do recall that they have cargo pants and skirts as well as warm and colorful fleeces in the Fall. I cant help but remember the commercials and isnt that one of the main goals of advertising...I'm torn. I dont know whether I should kick thier ass or applaud them. Maybe both at the same time...

  • I think hate is the more appropriate emotion in this case. Effectiveness aside, I can't help but feel a slight twinge of regret every time I pass an Old Navy and it's not on fire.

  • I wonder if the Old Navy commercials contain some form of subliminal messaging? I ask that because despite how terrible these ads are, I find myself unable to turn them off. I find myself uncontrollably thinking weird sexually-related thoughts about Morgan Fairchild or Fran Drescher. Pulling off their polar fleece tops and having them chase me to get it back. Playfully snapping wet twisted bandanas on their asses. Having them throw lays (sp?) around my neck while Ricardo Montalban stands somewhere in the background saying, "smiles, everyone, smiles" (you know there's got to be a Fantasy Island ad in the works). Why, Old Navy, why do you tease me with these aged seductresses?

    Perhaps I've said too much...
